Slide of the month (SOTM) January. Top countries in Africa’s food and beverage (F&B) manufacturing industry

In a recent project, our client in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) sector had the following questions:

• Which are the top countries for F&B manufacturing in Africa?

• How many manufacturers are there, and how big or small are they?

We conducted a multi-country market analysis and found that Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, Kenya, Senegal, and Uganda are Africa’s top countries for F&B manufacturing. These countries boast over 100+ companies each, indicating robust activity and market potential for international companies. We also mapped the size of companies, showing that some countries have a higher concentration of large and medium firms.

We identified vital partners and provided recommendations for future partnerships and sales efforts in selected countries.
